Who I am
ELMFOLD is the trading name of [LEGAL NAME], a sole trader based in Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Postal address: [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Email: hello@elmfold.co.uk. For UK GDPR purposes I am the data controller for the personal data described here.
What I collect, and why
- Project plan form. Your name, email, business name, country, optional phone, the answers you give about your project, and any files you attach. I use these to write your plan, reply to you and, if we work together, deliver the project. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and legitimate interests in running the studio.
- Email and messages. If you write to me, I keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to our relationship.
- Clients. Contract, invoicing and project records are kept for six years after the project ends, as UK tax rules require.
- Website analytics. [If analytics are enabled: privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that record page views without identifying you. Otherwise: none.]
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the studio: email delivery (Resend), hosting (Vercel), and accounting software. Each processes data on my instructions under their own data processing terms. Some may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum). I never sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask me to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or receive a copy in a portable format. Email hello@elmfold.co.uk and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
US visitors
If you are in the United States, the rights above apply to you too. I do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Changes
I will update this notice when something changes and show the date at the top.
